Mr. Jason Spears, age 37, Kingsport, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017 at Holston Valley Hospital.
Mr. Spears was born in Washington County and son of Rita Ambrose Spears, Johnson City and Clarence David Spears, Kingsport.
He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, survivors include a brother, Travis Spears and his wife Jennifer; life-partner, Roger Evans; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Ambrose; aunt, Sandra Ambrose; two uncles, Bobby Ambrose and Gary Ambrose; and several nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 pm Friday, December 29, 2017 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to the local Animal Shelter.
