Mrs. Margaret “Margo” Herriott, age 79, Jonesborough, passed away Friday, December 8, 2017, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Herriott was born in New York, NY and daughter of the late Frank & Anne (Jablonski) Etteddgue. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Candice Lee Herriott, sister, Barbara Etteddgue, and a brother, Frank Etteddgue.
She was a member of Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Billy “Bill” Hubert Herriott, Sr., Jonesborough; two sons, Randall S. Herriott (Elizabeth) Brandywine, Maryland and Alan B. Herriott, Baltimore, Maryland; two step-daughters, Sandra J. Prater (Kenneth), Jacksonville, Arkansas and Tina A. Guillory (Julian), Center Point, Louisiana; step-son, Billy H. Herriott, Jr., South Plainfield, New Jersey; grandchildren, Randall Tyler Herriott, Anna Kay Herriott, Jacob Alan Herriott, Winston Sawyer Herriott, Kyle Prater, Whitney Ivey, Caitlin J. Herriott, Paige Lee Herriott, Tyler P. Herriott, Amber Jackson and Dustin Gordon; six great-great grandchildren; sister, Linda Martinez, Wichita, Kansas; half-brother, Eliot Pransky, Billings, Montana; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted 8:00 pm Monday, December 11, 2017, at Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church with Pastor Joe Barber officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Monday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be Women’s Bible Class and Methodist Quilting Group.
