Mrs. Linda Ann Swisher, age 74, Jonesborough, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Swisher was born in Johnson City, NY and daughter of the late LeRoy E. & Thelma May Finch DePue. She was also preceded in death by her son, Roy Edward Swisher.
She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jay Swisher, Jonesborough; two daughters, AnnMarie Swisher and Audrey Lynn Sauls (Richard), all of Jonesborough; son, Leo Jack Swisher (Diane), CT; grandchildren, Dakotah Lin Phillips (Heath), Bristol, TN, Zachary William Sauls (Natasha) Jonesborough, Mikayla Ann Sauls, Jonesborough and Benjamin Edward Swisher, CT; step grandchildren, Zachery Bigus (Jessica), Hannah Bigus and Abbie Bigus,

We are so very sorry for your loss! Feelings of despair can be
overwhelming at this time. We pray that “the Father of tender
mercies, and the God of all comfort” (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4) will
give you peace of mind and comfort in your hearts. Acts 24:15
says that “there is going to be a resurrection” and Job 14:14,
15 shows that God has a longing to resurrect his friends! We
are so grateful that our loving God looks forward, as much as
we do, to reuniting us with our loved ones.

Shelby and Lee Smith
Linda was a dear friend. She loved her Sunday
School class and her choir. She always had time
to talk with her friends. I loved meeting her
unexpectedly at different places and having time
to talk with her. Jay, it has been a great
pleasure to get to know you. Linda always liked
to talk about your talent to create small
creations of many types of transportation.
We pray that God will give you peace. She is
safe at home with Jesus.
