Mrs. Billie West Bennett, age 82, Limestone, passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 at her residence.
Mrs. Bennett was born in Washington County and daughter of the late E. D. “Shorty” & Marie Rowe West. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Bennett, and brother Henry Ross West.
She was a member of Mt. Wesley United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Bennett was a graduate of Washington College Academy. She was employed by McDonald’s in Jonesborough, worked in the elections, and enjoyed going to the Jonesborough Senior Citizens.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Tina & James McCracken; grandson, T.J. McCracken; and several nephews and nieces.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, November 24, 2017 at Salem Cemetery. Friends may visit the home of her daughter, Tina McCracken.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
