Mrs. Ruth A. Gray, age 95, Jonesborough, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017 at her residence.
Mrs. Gray was the daughter of the late Cling & Minnie Belle Hensley. She was also preceded in death by her husband Dennis Leon Gray, Sr., a son, Dennis Leon (Denny) Gray, Jr. and eight brothers and sisters.
She was a member of Westside Christian Church.
Mrs. Gray retired from Memorial Hospital after almost 30 years of service.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia & Ralph E. Richards, Jonesborough; grandchildren, Deborah Bailey (Terry), Jonesborough, David Richards (Amy), Pocatello, Idaho and Heather Gray, Kingsport; great-grandchildren, Daniel Richards, Kaitlyn Harris (Andrew), Jordan Richards, Bryan Richards, Kelsey Bailey and T.J. Bailey; one great-great granddaughter, Rachel Elizabeth Harris; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Minister Mark Wade officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 pm Thursday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, November 3, 2017 at Mt. Bethel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
