Leon White, age 82, of McDonough,Georgia died Tuesday, October 24, 2017. He was the youngest of ten children. Leon loved to travel, play rook, and be with his family. He retired from Delta Airlines after 29 years. He is preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Virginia White.

Mr. White is survived by his wife, of 18 years, Diane White; children, Cathy (Patrick) Belt, Steve Smith, Susan (Buzzy) Nolen, Mike (Phyllis) Smith, and Stacey (Tim) Owens; grandchildren, Jonathan Belt, Joshua Belt, April (Ryan) Burgess, Austin Nolen, McKinley Smith, Sidney Smith, Riley Smith, Dalton Owens, Noah Owens; great-grandchildren, Sawyer Burgess and Avery Burgess; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and loved ones.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Pastor Archie Norman officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. A visitation will also be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home in Jonesborough, TN.
