Curtis R. "Chip" Green

Mr. Curtis R. “Chip” Green, age 72, Jonesborough, passed away Monday, October 23, 2017 at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Green was born in Washington County and son of the late Ray & Beulah Howser Green. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Gary Green, Ronnie Green and Jimmy Green.
He was a United States Marine Veteran.
Mr. Green was an attendant at Mark’s Car Wash. He enjoyed going to auctions.
Survivors include his loving companion of 25 years, Carla Lyon; children, Michael Ferguson (Kathy), Sharon Ferguson (Mark), Lisa Durbin (Bobby) and Sonja Green Cooper (Joey); fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Johnny Green (Jodi); and several nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, October 26, 2017 at New Victory United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.

EULOGIES & CONDOLENCES
I am sad to hear of Chip passing! I did not know it until this afternoon! I lost track of seeing him at the Barber Shop as I guess we just got on different schedules. I always liked to hear his stories and I grew up just up the road from his brother Ronnie. You all are in my thoughts and prayers!
