Linda Susan Long Miller

Linda Susan Long Miller passed into Eternal Life on October 13,2017 after a hard-fought battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
She was preceded in death by her parents James William Long and Stella Breeding Long.
Linda held a BS degree in Microbiology and worked in that field for several years. She also persued a degree in physical therapy at the Medical University of South Carolina and was devoted to pediatric physical therapy within the local school systems until her retirement.
She is survived by several cousins and dedicated caregivers who will miss her inspiration and faith in her Savior, Jesus Christ.

Linda and I lived in the same dorm at ETSU in 1975-79. We
were both Microbiology majors,had almost every class
together, and graduated together. I remember the day she
shared with me her diagnosis of MS. We kept in touch for
several years after graduation until career paths and life took
us in different directions. We got back in touch about ten years
ago and I was able to see her a few times in recent years. She
always had a positive attitude and a sweet gentle spirit, and
her love of the Lord was always evident.
