Mr. Roger Ray Price, age 59, Jonesborough, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at his residence.
Mr. Price was born in Johnson City and the son of the late Hubert L. & Eula Shipley Price. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Ann Price.
He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Mr. Price was retired and had worked for Universal Tire, Ball Helicopter and the Washington County School System as a Substitute Teacher.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Oakes Price, Jonesborough; son, Andrew Lee Price, Knoxville; step-sons, Christopher Mitchell (Meredith), Johnson City and Bryon Mitchell (Alisha), Virginia Beach, VA; step-daughter, Stacie Mitchell, Richmond, VA; special family members, Judy Jarrett, and Amie Jarrett Briggs, both of Jonesborough; special friends, Dave, Tina, Ashlea & Emily Reaves, Jonesborough; and several cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Highland Cemetery with Pastor Christopher Mitchell officiating.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association 3101 Browns Mill Rd. Suite 6-321 Johnson City, TN 37604.
