Mr. Howard Lewis Saults, age 78, Limestone, went to be with his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ Friday, September 15, 2017 at his residence.
Leaving behind a great legacy as a Christian and Ordained Deacon for Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He loved working for his Lord and his church.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Maxine Nelson Saults, Limestone; sons, Roger Saults (Kathy) and Doug Saults; three grandchildren, Nikki Saults, Anthony Saults and Rebecca Saults; brothers, Donnie Saults and Glen Dale Saults; sisters, Janie McIntosh, Joyce Hartsell and Elizabeth Black; and fellow deacons and friends from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
He enjoyed his retirement for the last seventeen years after 32 years of service with Burlington Industries. He was a one of a kind husband, father and friend.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Amedisys Hospice for their wonderful care given to Mr. Saults.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 pm Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Inurnment will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Cemetery with Mr. Don Powers and Pastor Charles Morgan officiating.
