On September 7th, Richard Allen Hunt, age 76, found the eternal peace that only our Savior Jesus Christ can provide.
Though his home was primarily in Washington County, TN. He spent 10 of his happiest years in Daphne, AL, as a member of Daphne United Methodist Church. During this time, he re-committed his life to Christ and actively participated in several ministries to include the Missions Ministry.
A life-long Sports fan, he loved the VOLS and never missed a game on TV. That passion originated from his playing days at Jonesboro High School where he graduated in 1958. He loved watching his nephews, son, and grandkids play all sports. His favorite past-time of Bass Fishing was most coveted with his Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, Dean Hunt, Ethel and Cecil Correll and a sister Deanna Hunt-Shipley.
He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren Logan and Mattie Hunt, son and daughter in-law Shane & Natalie Hunt, Sister & Brother in-law Jane & Johnny Hensley, Sister Kim Correll & Leroy. Nieces & Nephews, Pete, Jimbo, Richard, & Joanna, all of which he loved very much.
