Mrs. Helen Burnette, age 91, Bristol, Virginia passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Oakmont at Gordon Park.
Mrs. Burnette was born in Bee Tree, North Carolina and daughter of the late John Percy & Donna Delova Penland Gregg. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bradford Burnette, son, David Brad Burnette, Sr., brother, John Gregg and a sister, Elizabeth Taylor.
Survivors include two daughters, Angie Gibson (Don) and Christina Loyd; grandchildren, Kelly Roberts (A.J.), Kris Carlson (Angie), David Brad Burnette, Jr. (Laurel), Daniel Burnette, John Burnette (Lacey) and Jason Loyd (Robin); great-grandchildren, Ella Roberts, Branson Roberts, Walker Loyd, Johnny Skyler Loyd, Ava Burnette, Bradleigh Burnette; and a sister-in-law, Ann Gregg.
Graveside services for Mrs. Burnette will be held at 10 am Monday July 3, 2017 at the VA Cemetery in Black Mountain North Carolina.
