Barry H. VanDelinder, Sr., Jonesborough, passed away unexpectedly, April 4, 2017, at his home.
Barry was born January 24, 1958 in Elgin, IL, to Fay H. And Joan VanDelinder. He grew up in Rolling Meadows, Il, and lived in Jonesborough for 31 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother John.
Barry is survived by the love of his life and best friend, his wife Elizabeth, two sons, the lights of his life and of whom he was so very proud, Barry, Jr., and his wife, Samantha, and Billy, a brother, Chuck VanDelinder(Dinah), sister, Deb Brodie (Kevin), parents-in-law, Harry and Donna Hirt, brother and sisters-in-law, David Hirt (Glennis), Darlene Anderson(Michael), Debra Smith (David), several nieces and nephews who he adored, and his "bestest buddy", his cat, Puss 'N Boots. Barry was a Die Hard Chicago Cubs Fan since 1963, who finally saw his beloved Cubs win the World Series. Barry will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him.
Celebration of Life Service will be conducted Monday, April 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church 14950 Rhea County Highway Evensville, TN. 37322. Those who wish to visit or send condolences may do so at the home.

Phoenix when he was there. Only knew him
for a short time. He was always nice to
