Mr. Thomas J. Sylvester, age 56, Telford, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Holston Valley Medical Center.
Mr. Sylvester was born in Philadelphia, PA and son of the late Thomas & Marcella Zionkofski Sylvester. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, John G. Orsino and Anthony Orsino and long-time companion, Donna Buckingham.
He was a Roofer and member of Local 30 Roofer’s Union in Philadelphia, PA. He loved the Philadelphia Eagles and his dog “Buddy”.
Survivors include a son and daughter, Thomas Sylvester and Jaclyn Sylvester, both of New Jersey; three grandchildren, Mya, Jayden and Giavonna; sisters, Linda Dare, Telford and Elena Sylvester, Limestone; brothers, John Sylvester and James Sylvester, both of New Jersey; special caregiver/niece, Tammy Orsino, Telford; and many nephews and nieces.
Friends may pay their respects from 8:00-5:00 pm Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home, family will be present at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00 pm Wednesday.
