Claude Harold Merriman born on Sept. 19, 1938 in Franklin, Va. went to be with the Lord on Tue., Feb. 21,2017, Johnson City, Tn.
He is preceded by his parents, Luther and Margret and wife, Peggy.
He was the stepdad to Sherry Marion and his son in law, Michael. Papa' to: Michael Christian, Jesse, Sunshine Marion Taylor, Zack, Selena, KeVonna, KiYanna and. kiJanae Marion and Great Papa to Isaac Taylor.
Harold was a delightful, friendly and very good man who always had a smile on his face and lived a beautiful simple life. He was an avid bowler and loved being with his bowling community, He accomplished bowling 3 perfect games of 300 during his life. He was a truck driver before retiring.
A celebration of his life will be held 6:00 pm Friday, March 3, 2017 at the Holiday Lane Bowling Alley in Johnson City, TN.
