Mr. Russell Casey, age 63, Unicoi, passed away Friday, February 24, 2017 at his residence.
Mr. Casey was born in Unicoi, Tennessee and son of Juanita Dunbar Casey and the late Jack Casey.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Casey retired from Aerojet.
Survivors include a daughter, Tiona Hammett, Jonesborough; sons, Robbie Casey and Stepson Jamie Casey, both of Jonesborough; grandchildren, Miranda Hammett, Chaz Hammett, Jordan Reed, Jeremiah Casey, Jacob Casey and Nicole Casey; one brother, Hyder Casey and a sister, Charlotte Duncan.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Kesley officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm Tuesday prior to the service. Interment services will follow at Bumpass Cove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Terry Duncan, Joey Duncan, Chaz Hammitt, Jordan Reed, David Roberson, Robert McInturff, Chris Hammett and Tony Watts.
