Mr. Troy A. Wilson, 70, Jonesborough, passed away at the Johnson City Medical Center on Sunday, February 19, 2017 with his family at his side.
Mr. Wilson was a native of Washington County, the son of the late John and Roxie McNickles Wilson.
Mr. Wilson was retired having worked previously at Lowes. He attended Mt. Odell Free Will Baptist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors and he was an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his wife Alene Hughes Wilson, Jonesborough, two daughters, Darlene Peters (Jeff), Wanda Wilson, one son Troy Wilson Jr., 4 grandchildren, Kayla, Brooklyn, Montana, and Brandon, two great grandchildren, one brother, Johnny Wilson, and 4 sisters, Christine Hensley, Mary Lee Rogers, Ida Broyles, and Dorothy Hughes.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 2 pm at Seviers Cemetery, with Bro. Aaron Waddle, Bro. Bobby Waddle Sr. and Bro. Richard Tittle officiating.
Pallbearers will be Troy Wilson Jr., Andy Blackburn, Adam Wilson, Marvin Stockton, Coey Faulkner, and Matt Williford.
