Everett "Don" Barnett, age 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, February 11, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father Floyd and Elva Barnett.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Tonya; 2 daughters Debbie and Eddie Matthews and Joann and Doug Ramsey; 3 sons, Donnie Barnett and fiancée Terri, Johnny Peters and fiancée Sharon, and Jeff Barnett and wife Lisa; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-granddaughter. He also left behind his special furry friend, Kipper.
Special thanks to everyone that showed love and support during this time of need, all the Caris workers and daughter, Debbie and granddaughters Jennifer and Stacy for their special care.
His wishes were for his body to be donated for research. A Celebration of Life will be held at his home in Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 4:00.
My papaw wouldn't want anyone to be upset over his
passing, he's the type of person who would want
everyone to celebrate the memories they had with
him. Everyone in his life was special to him and he
was so proud for the kind of family he was blessed
to be apart of, a happy and loving family that has
such a close connection with each other. I love you
Papaw and I'll never forget the memories we shared
and don't worry, Granny will be taken care of by
