Dear Jimmy, David and Galen and families: I was so saddened to hear of Aunt Evelyn's passing. She always had a smile on her face. She was always willing to take on any sewing that you wanted done even if it was an almost impossible task, and with a smile. She was always a staple at church which we could count on. I was young when uncle Pete passed so I never got to know him well. I do know that from the way my Grandfather Wade talked about him that he was a wonderful man. Please know that we are praying for you and know that God brings peace when we ask. May God place His arms around you all during this time. Karen (Routh), Shane and Erika Peoples

Sweet Evelyn you will be missed. I have known you
for 40 years and you always had a smile, sweet
words to say. You were a very talented lady and
enjoyed seeing your needle work. I know now you
are out of pain and with your loved ones. David,
Pat, Emily, & Aaron you were lucky to have such a
sweet grandmother, mother.
loves and hugs,
Connie

"Idle hands are the devils playground " I never knew Aunt
Evelyn's hands to be idle, ever! She was always busy making
something ,churning butter, making friendship bread, hand
stitched cards, or working up vegetables,to help with meals,
even when she couldn't get up from her chair.
You could not have asked for a kinder, more gentle soul!
She is no longer trapped in her worn out earthly body, but is
free to live with her Savior! Phil.1:23 ..."to live is Christ, and to
die is gain."
We will miss her here, but look forward to seeing her in
heaven!

Evelyn, was my Mom, Katherine Brabson's
first cousin & my 2nd. Evelyn was always
nice to me as a youngin. She always
invited me to her house when I was down
for all my first, 25 yrs vacations. Even
after my grandparents died and the Farm
was sold. I stayed with her. I was closer
to her & Loved her more than any other
cousin. I'll miss you Evelyn, tell all my
folks in Heaven I love them.
She will be sorely missed. I enjoyed knowing her, Love to all
the family.
