Mrs. Linda Gayle Smith Greene, age 63, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017 at her residence.
Mrs. Greene was born in Washington County and daughter of the late Roy Victor & Elizabeth Tucker Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roger Greene, son, Raymond Smith, sister, Naomi Smith Painter and brother, Ogleva Smith.
She was a member of Embreeville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Sandra Smith Edwards; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Lawrence & Nancy Smith, Leon Smith, Garry Smith, all of Jonesborough and Archie Smith, Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Angie “Sissy” Greene; and special friends, Mable Dean and Travis Honeycutt.
Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Embreeville United Methodist Church with Pastor Charles Weatherly officiating.
