Shirley W. Jones, 80, of Telford, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 8th.
She was the daughter of the late Robert O. and Elmina Jones. She was a loving and caring person and will be greatly missed by her family. She enjoyed baking, family gatherings, and spending time with her pets.
She retired from Baxter Pharmaseal after more than 26 years service.
She was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Herbert and Josephine Jones, sister and brother-in-law, Vada and Lloyd Johnson, sister and brother-in-law, Bobbie and Charles Daniels.
Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Bernice Wilson of Elizabethton, Charlotte Hensley and husband Glen of Kingsport, Mary O. Jones of San Antonio, Texas, and 4 loving nieces, Judy Hughes, Jeanne Clawson, Debbie Brumit, and Vicki Sparks and loving nephew, Mike Jones, and several special great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home, Jonesborough.
Graveside service will be conducted Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 2:30pm at Chuckey United Methodist Church Cemetery.
