Mary Jayne (M.J.) Cloyd, age 55, Johnson City, passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 at Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC.
M.J. was born in Johnson City and daughter of Doyle & Carolyn Ruth Hoss Cloyd, Gray, TN. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary & Paul Hoss and Lonnie & Ruth Cloyd.
She was a Registered Nurse in Myrtle Beach, SC.
In addition to her parents, survivors include special cousins Camie & Leon Cloyd; special friend, Jo Nelms; very special caregivers, Paula Lovill and Shelly James; and several nephews, nieces and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.
Live in heaven you will be missed.

I am deeply saddened by the news of Mary Jane's passing. I
have wonderful memories of my childhood and the times our
families spent together. As we lose our love ones those
memories become more precious. As I remember tonight,

I really hated to received the news of one my lifelong friends
passing. I know how hard this must be for Carolyn and Doyle.
MJ was a special person that always brightened up the room
with her amazing personality. We all loved and will miss MJ but
at least she is in a better place , and not in pain.
