Mrs. Evelyn Bernice Trent, age 79, Jonesborough, passed into God’s peace and rest Thursday, June 30, 2016 at her residence.
Mrs. Trent was born in Washington County and was the daughter of the late Carl & Emma Belle Ingle Nelson. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Nelson.
She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved flowers and gardening.
Survivors include her husband, Randall Trent, Jonesborough; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard & Missy Trent and Nathan & Melodie Trent; grandchildren, Jayce Trent, Mason Trent, Chance Trent and Hannah Trent; brother and sister-in-law, Sherrill & Mary Kate Nelson; sister-in-law, Charlene Trent Lewis; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Dr. Clay Austin officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Saturday prior to the service.
Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 pm Sunday, July 3, 2016 at Washington County Memory Gardens with Pastor Nathan Moore officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jayce Trent, Mason Trent, Chance Trent, and friends of family.
