Mrs. Emma J. Lamons Miller, age 92, Jonesborough, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Unicoi County Hospital.
Mrs. Miller was born in Washington County and daughter of the late Edmond & Dora Moore Lamons. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James A. Miller.
She was a member of Seviers United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Miller retired from Belk’s and was past president of the South Central PTA.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, James Miller, Jr. & Betty and Jeff Miller & Trina, all of Jonesborough; five grandchildren, Robin Littleton, Robert Miller, Jennifer Robbins, Jeffrey Miller and Mandie Miller; one great-grandson, Drew Miller; two nieces, Cindy William Church and Janie Williams; and one nephew, Eddie Williams.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 pm Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Seviers Cemetery with Rev. Joey Murdock officiating.
Pallbearers will be Robert Miller, Jeremy Littleton, Drew Miller, Brian Jessee and Jim Jessee. Honorary pallbearers will be Wilson Painter, Jr., Kenny Church and Bill Whitaker.
