Sarita Gizzi

Sarita Gizzi, age 64, Kingsport, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Greystone Healthcare Center in Blountville, TN.
She was born on December 24, 1951 in Sullivan County, the daughter of the late Homer Ray & Edith Marie Riggs Whetsel. After high school, she moved to New Jersey and stayed through the majority of her adult years, returning to Tennessee later in life to spend time with her extended family.
Survivors include her daughter, Tamara Thatcher, Pennsylvania; sister, Kathleen Britt, Kingsport; nephew, Bradley Naylor, Kingsport; nephew, Brian Naylor, Kingsport; and nephew, Terry Wayne Burgin, Bloomingdale. Preceding her in death was her late sister, Dinah L. Jones, Kingsport.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am â€" 1:00 pm on Monday, June 6, 2016 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
