Mr. Charles O. Beckett, age 85, Gray, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Beckett was born in Washington County, TN and son of the late Willie E. & Sudie Robbins Beckett. He was also preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
He was a member of Harrison Christian Church.
Mr. Beckett was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Korean War, having received the United Nations Service Medal and Korean Service Medal. He was a member of the American Legion.
He was a retired employee of Arcadia Graphics.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Mae Proffitt Beckett, Gray; two sons, Bill Beckett, Gray and Larry Beckett and wife Karen, Winchester, VA; grandchildren, Matthew Beckett, Jennifer Beckett and Robin Beckett.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 pm Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Minister Brian Powell officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:30 pm Sunday prior to the service. Interment will follow at Washington County Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
