Mrs. Lillie Marie Nelson, 72, Limestone passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
She was a native of Washington County the daughter of the late Ferrin and Ruth Wyatt Painter.
Mrs. Nelson was of the Methodist faith. She was a hard working lady who farmed most of her life and she also drove a school bus for 17 years.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Kenneth Nelson, of Limestone, two sons, Charlie Nelson, Jonesborough, and Kenny Nelson, Limestone, four sisters and three brothers, and a special niece Victoria Fellers.
I will always remember Marie's no nonsense common
sense and her advise to me when we visited. She was
a wonderful person that will be missed
