We remember Dale sitting at our table here on the banks of the Wabash River in Lafayette, IN in August, 2009. Here are some great words from Rev. 21: "He'll wipe every tear from their eyes. Death is gone for good - tears gone, crying gone, pain gone - all the first order of things gone."

Dale Sparks will be missed by all who knew him. I never knew a more gentle soul in my lifetime. He was a gift to humanity from God, and now he's sitting in his Glory with the Lord. A wonderful and thorough Agent for the State of Oklahoma. A real pleasure to work with...an investigator who always had the inquisitive mind for which so many lacked. Thanks Dale. And God Bless Nancy and the Boys. He was so proud of you all.

Dale was the first OSBI agent assigned to my case. He was kind and soft spoken. He came to my hospital room and I knew I was in good hands. Rest in peace Dale.

Was sorry to hear about Dale's passing, but somewhat relieved also. I know he was tired of fighting the battle and we all know where he is today. Nan I admire your strength and your dedication throughout these last three or four years. There is a song by Tammy Wynette entitled Stand by your man. If there was ever a fitting song for you it would be this one. It would be so nice if everyone in the world had a mate like you. Love you and may God be with you through the days to come.
