Mrs. Marjorie Lowery Whitley, age 81, Johnson City, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Whitley was a native of Hot Springs, Arkansas and was the daughter of the late John and Virginia Brown Lowery, she was also preceded in death by her husband John Lenard Whitley.
Mrs. was a member of Wesley Memorial Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons Michael Whitley and his wife Lisa, and Johnny Whitley; three step-grandchildren Michael Engle, Matthew Engle, and Marc Engle; three step great-grandchildren Julian Engle, Harmony Ayers, and Brailey; special friends and caregivers Renee O’Malley and Juanita Sherffey.
The family will receive family and friends Wednesday April 20, 2016 from 1:00 to 2:00PM. Graveside services will follow at Washington County Memory Gardens with Rev. Gerald Casson officiating.

I'm very sorry to learn of her passing. "Margie" was
such a sweet person with the kindest heart. She was
a best friend as well as neighbor to my Grandmother
and I appreciate her always for her caring nature.
