Mrs. Patsy Percell Jackson, age 73, Jonesborough, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 at her residence.
Mrs. Jackson was born in Washington County and daughter of the late Minnie Ellen Phipps Percell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John D. Jackson, three brothers, Bernie Percell, Roy Percell and Donald “Bud” Percell, and four sisters, Willie Taylor, Jess Yates, Dean Tester and Dorothy “Dot” Lowery.
She attended Jonesborough Church of God and a member of Cherokee Baptist Church.
Mrs. Jackson was a member of the Lamar Ruritan.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Allen & Susan Jackson, Jonesborough; daughter, Johna D. Jackson, Unicoi; brother, Fred Percell, Roanoke, VA; special sister-in-law, Pat Percell, Jonesborough; numerous nephews and nieces; cats, Callie Mae and Sassy; grand-furbabies, Jazzy & Bossley.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 PM Monday, March 7, 2016 at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Lusk officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:30 PM Monday prior to the service. Interment services will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
