Mr. Jeffrey Lynn Hartsell, age 41, Jonesborough, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the Johnson City Medical Center with his family and friends by his side.
Mr. Hartsell was the son of Joyce Hartsell, Jonesborough and the late Theodore Hartsell. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis Hartsell and Brian Hartsell.
He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his mother, survivors include a daughter, Vanessa “Hartsell”, Greeneville; son, Zack Hartsell, Greeneville; sisters, Joyce Ann Lowe, Telford and Janice Price, Michigan; one grandchild, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, January 29, 2016 at the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Charlie Morgan and Pastor Robert Skeen officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 pm Friday at the church prior to the service. Interment services will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Scott Lee, Harvey Norton, Stevie Lowe, Joey Hazelwood, Jim Louder and Don Powers.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations be made to Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, The Brotherhood Fund, P.O. Box 246 Limestone, TN 37681.
