Mr. James E. “Jim” Riddle, age 75, Telford, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Riddle was born in Washington County and son of Eula Kate Broyles Riddle, Kingsport and the late Claude Riddle.
He was a member and Deacon of Mustard Seed Worship Center.
Mr. Riddle retired from Whites Auto Parts. He enjoyed working on lawnmowers or anything that had a motor.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Sparks Riddle, Telford; son, Randall Riddle; grandsons, Lucas Timbs and Steven Timbs (Lindsay); sister, Betty Martin (B.J.); brother, Harold Riddle (Faye); dog, Jessie May and two cats, Vincent and Oscar.
The family would like to send special thanks to special cousins, Janice & Allen Knight and a special neighbor, Gregg Brunk.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the Mustard Seed Worship Center with Pastor Jerry Powers officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, January 29, 2016 at Philadelphia Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Larry Forbes, Shawn Stewart, Gilbert Hall, Gary “Monk” Baines, Allen Knight and John Dugger.
Memorial donations may be made to Mustard Seed Worship Center Building Fund 305 Depot Street Jonesborough, TN 37659.

So sorry to hear of Jimmy's passing. Jimmy and I had been friends since we were teenagers on Walnut Street. I'm sorry I won't be able to attend the services, but am keeping the family in my thoughts and prayers.
