Mr. Mark Edward Phillips, age 29, Knoxville, passed away unexpectedly Thursday January 7, 2016.
Mr. Phillips was born in Alexander, Virginia and son of Stephanie Crawford (Paul “Smiley” Pierson) and the late Ralph Phillips. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, James & Bessie Phillips and an uncle, Mike Crawford.
He enjoyed weightlifting and rock climbing.
In addition to his mother, survivors include grandparents, Ray & Joyce Crawford; two aunts, Teresa DelValle and Sandra Crawford; four step-sisters, Lois, Robin, Lori, and Tina; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted 12:30 pm Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Jeremy Dykes officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:30 pm Thursday prior to the service. Interment services will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
