Mr. Jack Mason Mullis, age 91, Mountain Home, TN passed away Saturday January 9, 2016 at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center.
Mr. Mullis was a native of Washington County TN and the son of the late Hughes and Jocy Mullis. He was also preceded in death by his brother John Mullis and a sister Anna Kenney.
Mr. Mullis was a WWII Army Veteran having received the Purple Heart. Mr. Mullis retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Survivors include his nephew Michael Kenney and his wife Peggy; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Wednesday January 13, 2016 10:45 at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Military Honors.

Uncle Jack so sorry we didn't make it to your funeral but we just found out about your passing yesterday ( 2-4 2016 ) you are in my prayers & heart hope your up in Heaven with all our loved ones having a big hug !! RIP Sweet man !!
I got to know Jack while serving over at the VA. I
would always look for him when I was there. He was
fun to listen to as he had some funny stories about
his life. He was a hero of sorts in my book and I
will miss him.
Thank you sir for your service to our country.May God be with
the family.
