David, we are so very sorry for your loss. Our
deepest sympathies and condolences. We pray God
sends you peace and comfort.
I still remember playing on Grandma Lilleys
porch with Vickie, Chuck, Janet and all of our
other cousins. She will be missed. Love to all.
Vickie's mother Marie and my mom Ruby were sisters and best
friends all through life. When I look at pictures from their
childhood I get the feeling Aunt Marie is being protective of her
younger sister Ruby. I think Vickie may have possessed the same
qualities her mom had with her sister, children and
grandchildren. First cousins have speciall bonds and there were
plenty of cousins to bond with. We will miss Vickie but knowing
she is no longer in pain or worried about others who take care of
her is a blessing. I can here her mom fussing at her now when
she sees her: "For heavens sake child, what are you doing here
so soon. " Then she'll give her a big hug.
My heart goes out to David and all of the
immediate family members as well as extended
family. Our condolences and thoughts are with you
at this sad time and hope you will find solace in
the fact that our dear Vickie is at peace.
EVEN THOUGH OUR FAMILY LIVED IN VIRGINIA,GREAT
MEMORIES OF GROWING UP WITH VICKIE AND ALL OF OUR
COUSINS WILL BE CHERISHED FOREVER.WE WERE ALL VERY
BLESSED.

Vickie is and now gone but will always be my sister in law. After Vickie and David got married, he went to war. That left us and my mama living together and we made the best of it. Vickie was always good to me and would sew for me and even went on a stupid grapefruit diet and that didn't last long. We liked Blue Moon. I used to tell everyone i love my brother but liked Vickie best
Beloved sister in law and friend all my love to her and her family....love janie
My heart got to all Aunt Vickie's family. She was a Great person and will be missed. Nikki
