Mrs. JoAnne Horton, age 65, Jonesborough, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Horton was born in Sullivan County and daughter of the late James Alfred & Hazel Kitzmiller Johnson.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Everett Horton, Jr., Jonesborough; son, Doug Frosley (Lisa), Erwin and daughter, Carla Morgan (Charlie), Limestone; grandchildren, Gabrielle Phipps (Austin), Sierra Frosley, Chuck Morgan (Caitlyn), Cortney Casey and Chase Morgan; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Johnson (Pam) and Gary Johnson (Julie); three sisters, Jean Neal, Shelby McNeill (Dennis) and Carolyn Almaroad, (Glen); sister-in-law, Janice R. Green; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services for Mrs. Horton will be Sunday, December 20, 2015 at 7 pm at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with pastor Charlie Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 till 7 pm prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted 1:00 pm Monday, December 21, 2015 at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gary Johnson, Larry Johnson, Doug Frosley, Glen Almaroad, Chase Morgan, and Charlie Morgan.
