Mrs. Mary Penelope Nagle, age 74, Jonesborough, passed away on October 15, 2015 at the Franklin Woods Community Hospital with her husband by her side after a four month fight with stage four cancer.
She was a member of the Westside Christian Church in Jonesborough. She loved singing in the choir and was an active member in the church.
Mrs. Nagle was born Mary Penelope Baer of Chicago, Illinois. Her parents were Mrs. Claire Baer and Mr. Anthony Baer.
Mrs. Nagle is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Carl Martin Nagle, Jr.; her daughter, Carla Marie Anklam of Largo, Florida; a son, Kevin Carl Nagle and his wife Jamie of Syracuse, Utah; two sisters, Antoinette Cornell and her husband Doctor Edward Cornell of Alton, Illinois and Margaret Deznan; brother, David Baer; four grandchildren, Carl Russell Anklam, Justin Dee Nagle, Lindsee Lee Bertoch and Allysen Nichole Nagle; two great-grandchildren, Billy Bergen and Mia Bertoch; and several nephews and nieces.
Memorial services will be conducted 7:00 pm Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the Westside Christian Church.
