Hello and my belated yet most heartfelt condolences to Lucy’s family. My family lived behind hers in a duplex on Harding Pl, owned by my grandfather, LA Waggoner. Daddy (Tom) and Mother (Jane Lawing), siblings Carol, Tommy Jr, and Alan. Gosh did we all have a great life there! Played outside in the summers dawn til dark, (parents didn’t worry where we were,) ate lunch at whichever home was closest, headed home when our moms began calling… and not by phone! Loud old-time hollers!!! I remember Lucy’s sisters, was one of you a Nun? I seem to remember one of you wearing “angel wings… I could go on and on but just wanted to let your family know how much the Smoots meant to me All those many years ago. I can’t tell you what I did yesterday but much of life aeons ago is so clear! May God’s Peace be with you all. Linda

Sorry for your loss. Times like these can be very difficult so pray constantly. Philippians 4:6-7 admonishes us to throw our anxieties on our Heavenly Father, he in turn will strengthen you and place peace upon your mind and heart. I hope you all are able to find comfort and heal very soon.
