I'm sorry to hear about Mr. Archer. I along with all of our Men's Sunday School will sorely miss him. Saying he lived a long and full life doesn't take away the sadness. If it's any consolation, while we are all sad here on earth, I know that Heaven is rejoicing. My and our condolences.

I was privileged to be Jim's (and Joyce's) pastor from 1987- 2000 at Sulphur Springs UMC. No finer man was Jim Archer! I always loved that warm smile, his quiet yet caring disposition. Jim and Joyce always welcomed me in their home and I had the deepest admiration and affection for them both. Heaven has received another saint. Our prayers and condolences to the family. God bless.
