Linda Aileen Carriger Dillow, Jonesborough, died unexpectedly at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 29, 2015. She was born April 19, 1941, in Elizabethton, Carter County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late Maples Leonard Carriger, Jr. and Mildred Pauline Kimery Carriger.
Linda was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her brother, Douglas Leonard Carriger. She is survived by her husband, Tommy Roger Dillow: one daughter, Sharon Elizabeth Dillow Keplinger and husband Gerald; and one son, Thomas Maxwell Dillow and fiancée Melissa Ann Luttrell. She is survived by two sisters: Judith Ann Carriger Tarver; and Elizabeth Kimberly Carriger McReynolds and husband Melvin. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Molly Kimery Keplinger; Kathryn Marie Keplinger Stone and husband Jonathan; Dakota Ray Luttrell; and Crystal Ann Luttrell. Linda is also survived by numerous relatives other than immediate family.
No formal funerary functions will be conducted. A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.

Linda I will miss our phones calls so much. You were one of
my best friends and the best Town Clerk the Town of New
Brockton, Al ever had. I will miss you and will see you again

I would like to offer my condolences to Roger, Sharon and Tommy. Linda will be missed. I have been friends with Linda since she was a little girl. I know I teased her a lot, but I thought the world of her. My thoughts and prayers will be with the family at this time.
