Papa you have been my rock my whole life. For 35 years I have lived next to you and Nana Dot from Missouri, to Oklahoma, to New York, to finally Tennessee. Living without you doesn't even feel normal. You were always there when I needed anything from money to advice and now it is so hard not to pick up the phone and call you or Nana Dot and ask question about anything and everything. I miss you so much and I am only greatful that you are in Heaven with Nana Dot and no longer in any pain. You have made a great impact on my life as well as my kids your great grandchildren Kya and Draven. Every friend that I had growing up that met you and Nana Dot said you made an impact on their lives as well. You were a great man, a wonderful father, a loving grandfather, and so much more and you will be greatly missed.
I love you Papa,
Love your #1 Chris

I can not think of any words that can adequately convey how much we all love you and how much you will be missed. I will miss our times sitting at the table eating our favorite meals and watching the news together or all the other things we used to do. I will miss being able to call you or come and ask you for your advice as to what to do regarding so many things. You were the smartest and wisest man I've ever known and I consider it a great honor to have been your daughter. You molded who I am today and God has truly blessed me for giving me you as my dad! I love you dad and I am lost without you but through God's grace and promise that we will be together again one day, I will continue on and hope that I can leave my children with at least half as much wisdom as you left me. love Lisa

Art, I will miss you, the time we spent working together, including our trips to Manchester. You made me feel welcome and included me in your family activities, memorable times I spent with you and Dorothy, Lisa and Steve. Even though we live miles apart, you were part of my life for many years. God bless you Art.

Lisa & Family:
Words are difficult to find...for those who wish to comfort and for those who need the comfort. We pray that you find that comfort in each other, that God will give you strength, and that memories will stay in the foreground and provide sanctuary for all. We pray for peace...peace of mind, peace of heart, and peace knowing you did all you could for such a wonderful man. Our hearts, prayers, and thoughts are with you and your family.
