Anthony "Tony" Murrells

Mr. Anthony “Tony” Murrells, age 86, Telford, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2015 at his residence.
Mr. Murrells was born in London, England and son of the late Cecil & Ethel Green Murrells. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Murrells, two sisters and one brother.
He was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church.
Mr. Murrells served with the British Expeditionary Force following WWII.
He retired as a Machinist.
Survivors include one sister and two nephews, England.
Graveside services will be conducted 2 P.M. Monday September 14, 2015 at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Sarah Wells officiating.
Pallbearers will be Larry Robinson, Clint Smith, Mike Konnick, Ken Holtsclaw and Stan Gedelman. Pallbearers are requested to meet at the funeral home at 1:30 P.M.

EULOGIES & CONDOLENCES
Although I didn't know Tony very long, he made a lasting imprint in my soul. He opened his heart and shared many of his stories with me, yet he was modest about them. He had a phone call from Pete and insisted I speak with him. When I finished speaking, he beamed and stated, "Now...you spoke with England!" He loved and spoke of his nephews, Phil and John with such pride. He blessed all of those around him and in turn he was surrounded by Angels that came to him in the form of friends. I feel truly blessed to have had God introduce him to me.
