Mr. Bobby Joe Chase, 72, Telford, passed away at his son’s residence with his family around him on Sunday, September 6, 2015.
Mr. Chase was a Washington County native, the son of the late Luther and Euna Horne Chase. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister Becky Chase Good.
He was a US Army Veteran.
He was retired from the Town of Jonesborough working as a mechanic for many years.
Survivors include his wife Linda Collins Chase, two sons, Curtis Chase and wife Sharon, Telford, Dennis Chase, Chattanooga, three grandchildren, Chrissy Knight, Tara Knight, and Brittany Chase, one brother Bill Chase and several cousins, nephews, and nieces.
A private graveside service will be held for Mr. Chase at Fairview Cemetery, with Pastor Mark Harrod officiating.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.

I worked with Joe for many years at the Town of Jonesborough and at Food City. He was a very good man and good friend.
He was funny and we had some good times, he made hard days not so long. He will be truly missed
