Mr. Edward J. Ide, 88, Johnson City, TN passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at the Courtyards Assisted Living Center.
He was born in Seneca Falls, NY, the son of the late James S. and Gladys Bean Ide. He was also preceded in death by his wife Gloria M Smith, and a sister Betty Ide Dixon.
Mr. Ide resided at 11199 Turnpike Rd, Clyde, NY on his beloved 50 acre farm which he worked for over 50 years. He also retired from Baker Commodities after 42 years of service.
Survivors include a daughter Darlene (Ide) Neil and husband Jeffrey Neil of Gray, TN, one son Edward Ide Jr. and fiancé Mary Casselman of Cayuga, NY, one grandson, Brian Ide and wife Erin Ide of Syracuse, NY, one granddaughter, Lindsey (Ide) Moe and husband Brian Moe of Butte, MT and three great grandchildren Caitlin, Brandon and Asher.
Mr. Ide will be laid to rest at Restvale Cemetery, Seneca Falls, NY after a private family memorial.
