Mrs. Mary Juanita Mashburn, age 83, Jonesborough, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at the John M. Reed Nursing Home.
Mrs. Mashburn was born in Washington County and daughter of the late Bernie & Grace Bacon McKee.
She was a member of Vincent United Methodist Church and attended Mt. Wesley United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Mashburn worked at McClure Hardware until retirement.
She was a former member of Conklin Ruritan Club.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Donald Mashburn, Jonesborough; daughter and son-in-law, Donna & Wayman Bailey, Murfreesboro; grandson, Zachary Bailey; sisters, Doris Clark and husband John, Louise Mitchell and Velma McKee; brother-in-law, John “June” Mashburn (Diana); sister-in-law, Nancy Barnett (Brown); special cousin, Lavanda Kyker; and several nephews and nieces.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to everyone at John M. Reed Nursing Home for the great care they gave.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, June 19, 2015 at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Dykes and Rev. Jeff Talent officiating. Interment services will follow at Mayberry Vincent Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Mashburn, Carlos Peterson, Jim Peterson, Wayne Percell, Andy Barnett, Mike Clark and Greg Harrell. Honorary pallbearer will be Scott Hill.
