Mrs. Jo Anne "Archie" Strickland Saults, age 72, passed away Sunday May 31, 2015 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Saults was a native of Washington County and the daughter of the late Howard and Ruth Vest Strickland.
Mrs. Saults was a member of Midway Baptist Church and attended Tacoma Church of God.
JoAnne was a homemaker, loved spending time with her husband Ron and having laughs with family & friends. Jo Anne was an artist & enjoyed traveling, painting and loved being outside working with her hands. She enjoyed spending time with her "sisters".
Survivors include her husband Ronald Saults Sr., Son, Ronald Saults Jr. & wife Tammy. Daughter Kathy Street & husband Doug. Son, Tim Saults & wife Casey, Daughter Chastity Clark; grandchildren, Eric Street, Dustin Street, Rachel Saults, Liberty Saults, Rebecca Saults, Calista Saults, Christian Holcombe and Jayden McCurry; two great-grandchildren, Kaylyn and Landon Street; sisters, Phyllis Shipley and Virginia Faye Hall & husband Jim; serval special nieces and nephews. So many special family & friends to mention, but much love to all.
JoAnne was a caring & compassionate woman to everyone she met. Always having a smile on her face, especially when the house was full of people. "The more the merrier" she always said. JoAnne was "momma Jo" to many & loved each as her own. Our hearts are broken, but we know she is in heaven with no more suffering or pain.
A special thank you to Sara Mullins, Dr. Bertotti & the staff of JCMC & Amedysis for their loving care. Thank you Terri Owens & Mary Fagan for your kindness & continued friendship. Many Thanks and Love from our family to yours.
Graveside services will be Thursday, June 4, 2015 4:30 PM at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends 2:00-4:00 PM at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home prior to the service. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Joann(Archie) was our baby sister. we love her very much and our hearts are in so many places, missing her and also knowing that she is with MOM and DAD AND OUR LITTLE SISTER. I KNOW ALL OUR GRANDMOTHERS AND GRANDFATHERS,AUNTS AND UNCLES THAT LOVE HER SO MUCH ARE HAVING SO MUCH FUN WITH HER NOW. SHE NO LONGER HURTS AND I KNOW SHE IS HAPPY AS MY PASTOR SAID SHE IS IN THE STANDS AND WE ALL ARE STILL ON THE PLAYING FIELDS JOANN I KNOW THAT YOU CAN SEE THAT ME AND JIM WISH WE COULD BE THERE IF ALL POSSIBLE.
