Mrs. Margaret Hillard Trivett, age 57, Jonesborough, passed away Friday May 29, 2015 and after fighting hard for many years with illness, she is now at peace with her Lord and Savior.
Mrs. Trivett was a native of Washington County and the daughter of the late William and Bernice Privette Hillard Sherfey, she was also preceded in death by her step-father Charles Sherfey, daughter-in-law Misty Trivett and a son Tony Benjamin Trivett.
Margaret was a Christian, and loved her Lord.
She loved spending time with her grandkids, working in the garden, playing games on the computer, and going camping.
Margaret was a CNA, but had worked most recently at the Old Towne Dairy Barn in Jonesborough.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years Richard Trivett; four sons and daughters-in-law, Scottie Trivett, Jody and Debbie Trivett, Timothy and Jennifer Trivett, and Mickey and Tracey Trivett; eight grandchildren, Kaleigh, Jayde, Jessica, Faith, Avery, Caidan, Micah and Jacob; one brother Michael Hillard, four sisters, Goldie, Sally, Susan, and Sara; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday June 1, 2015 7:00PM at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. The family will receive family and friends 5:00-7:00PM prior to the service.
Interment will be Tuesday June 2, 2015 10:00AM at Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Margaret’s sons which will carry her to her final resting place.
