Mr. David Allen Henshaw, age 89, Jonesborough passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Henshaw was born in Charleston, West Virginia and son of the late Joseph Franklin & Martha Elizabeth Hoover Henshaw.
He attended Mount Zion Baptist Church and was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Milton, WV. He was a former member of Sumter Baptist Temple, Sumter, SC.
Mr. Henshaw was a United States WWII Navy Veteran.
He was an Engineer for Union Carbide Chemical Company.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Henshaw, Jonesborough; daughter and son-in-law, Anita & Rick Short, Jonesborough; sons and daughters-in-law, David & Linda Henshaw, South Charleston, WV, Michael & Lita Henshaw, Chula Vista, CA and Joseph Henshaw, Marbleton, WY; nine grandchildren and twenty one great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 am Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the Mountain Home National Cemetery with Pastor Brain Nulf officiating.
