Mrs. Vickie Taylor Bolton Lawhern, age 58, Limestone, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015 at her residence.
Mrs. Lawhern was born in Greeneville, TN and daughter of the late Bobby & Betty Louise Key Taylor. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Summer Lewis, mother-in-law, Norma Ownby and a nephew, Robert Johnson.
She was of the Baptist faith. She always put others first.
Mrs. Lawhern was a member of the Limestone Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include her husband, Mitchell Lawhern, Limestone; children, Shaun Bolton (Jamie), Chad Bolton and Kristie Lawhern Bolton, Sandy Bolton (Jonathan Hartman), Jason Bolton (Nicole Bulla), Amy Bolton Lewis (John) and Eric Lawhern (Trinity Velasco); grandchildren, Joshua Bolton, Lane Bolton, Taylor Bolton, Logan Bolton, Jacob Bolton, MaKayla Hartman, Emily Lewis, John David Lewis, Breanna Tichrob, Noah Velasco and Peyton Ramsey; brothers, Elvis Taylor (Pat) and Ronnie Taylor; sisters, Lisa Bailey (Randy) and Twana Summie (Randy); four sisters-in-law, Tracy Lawhern, Gina Lawhern, Carmen Lawhern and Michelle Vinson; several nephews and nieces; and special pets, Rocky, Pete & Sam.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Charles Montgomery & Staff, Dr. Dharma Patel & Staff, Caris Hospice Nurse, Katina Cloyd, Jamie Ferguson and caregiver, Sarah Bowers for their wonderful care.
Funeral services will be conducted 8:00 pm Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Day officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Limestone Freewill Baptist Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Street, Eric Roberts, Tim Cloyd, Jeff Williams, Mike Hagie and Bobby Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, Jacob Bolton, Logan Bolton, John David Lewis and Lane Bolton.
