So sorry for your loss our prayers are with you
all.sorry we could not come to funeral.
I worked with Howard 30 years ago when I was just a teenager
and he taught me so much. To work hard regardless of the
task and to enjoy yourself at the same time. I am a better
person today because of the few years I spent with him, and I
am lucky to call him a friend. May God bless the Shell family
with comfort and strength.
Girls,I'm so sorry for your
loss,he was very kind hearted
man,May God Bless each one of
you all,

I WISH TO EXPRESS MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO THE SHELL AND EXTENDED FAMILY. I NEVER MET MR SHELL BUT I WORK WITH HIS GRANDSON-HUNTER CARR. HUNTER IS A FINE YOUNG MAN AND IS A TRIBUTE TO HIS GRANDFATHER AND OTHERS. MY THOUGHTS WILL BE WITH ALL THE FAMILY.
Howard was one of the best friends I've ever had as well as the best neighbor.
I could always count on him for an ear or a hand. And I believe he felt the same. The mountain will never feel the same.
My sincere condolences to the Shell family. Howard was the finest of men and you should well be proud of a life well lived which was his.
He knew every tree and plant in the woodlands, and found beauty in all things.
I doubt I will ever have another friend like him.
I know he's in a beautiful place now.
